About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated Systems Engineer to join our growing Systems & Security team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the deployment, configuration, and day-to-day administration of enterprise Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) solutions.
You’ll work directly with customers and internal stakeholders to implement, troubleshoot, and optimize endpoint management platforms across diverse IT environments. This is a client-facing technical role that offers real ownership, continuous learning, and direct exposure to enterprise infrastructure projects from day one.
What You’ll Do
Deploy, configure, and administer Ivanti EPM (and other UEM platforms) across customer environments
Install and manage the Ivanti Engine-Based Agent (EBA) across Windows endpoints, including troubleshooting agent health, inventory, and communication issues
Configure and manage patch management workflows — from content download and vulnerability scanning through to approved deployment and compliance reporting
Build and maintain software distribution packages and delivery tasks
Support OS deployment (OSD) and device provisioning workflows using PXE, WinPE, and provisioning templates
Administer SQL Server databases backing EPM deployments, including basic health checks, backup validation, and performance monitoring
Configure Active Directory integration, LDAP/LDAPS directory sync, and RBAC role assignments
Investigate and resolve technical issues raised by customers, documenting root cause and resolution clearly
Perform pre-deployment environment assessments and validate readiness against pre-requisite checklists
Participate in customer-facing meetings, providing clear technical updates and progress reporting
Contribute to technical documentation including design documents, runbooks, and knowledge base articles
What We’re Looking For
Experience
1–3 years of hands-on experience in a Systems Engineer, IT Administrator, or Endpoint Management role
Practical experience with at least one UEM or endpoint management platform — Ivanti EPM strongly preferred; Tanium, SCCM/MECM, Workspace ONE, or Jamf also considered
Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server — running queries, checking job histories, basic backup/restore operations
Solid understanding of Windows Server and Windows 10/11 administration
Experience with Active Directory — user/computer management, GPO, LDAP, OU structure
Familiarity with IIS configuration and Windows networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
Experience reading and interpreting log files and registry entries for troubleshooting purposes
Technical Skills
Ivanti EPM: inventory, patching, software distribution, remote control, agent deployment
Windows Server 2016 / 2019 / 2022 administration
Microsoft SQL Server — basic DBA operations, SSMS, query execution
Active Directory and Group Policy administration
Networking: TCP/IP, DNS, firewall ports, VLANs (conceptual understanding minimum)
PowerShell scripting for automation and troubleshooting (basic to intermediate)
Understanding of PKI, SSL certificates, and TLS basics
Soft Skills & Working Style
Methodical, structured troubleshooter — you gather facts before drawing conclusions
Clear and professional communicator, comfortable in customer-facing situations
Able to manage multiple concurrent tasks across different projects without dropping the ball
Takes ownership of issues and follows through to resolution — you don’t leave things half-done
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Eager to learn, open to feedback, and continuously building your technical depth
Nice to Have
Experience with Ivanti Neurons, ISEC (Endpoint Security), or EPMM
Exposure to Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu) administration
Experience writing technical documentation (HLDs, runbooks, pre-requisite docs)
Any Ivanti, Microsoft, or CompTIA certification (or currently working toward one)
