Role Description:
The Senior Systems Engineer – MDM is responsible for delivering end-to-end Mobile Device Management (MDM) projects using Ivanti (MobileIron) or similar solutions. The role includes gathering requirements, designing solutions, implementing configurations, supporting UAT, and providing post-implementation support.
The engineer works closely with the Delivery Team Lead and project stakeholders to ensure successful delivery, high customer satisfaction, and adherence to best practices. The role also includes second and third-level support, documentation, and contribution to presales activities when required.
Responsibilities:
Deliver MDM projects (Ivanti MobileIron or similar solutions) on time and with high quality.
Gather business and technical requirements through workshops with customers.
Design MDM solutions including architecture, policies, compliance, and integrations.
Implement and configure MDM environments.
Configure device enrollment for iOS, Android Enterprise, Windows, and macOS.
Implement security policies, compliance rules, app distribution, and access controls.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure successful customer sign-off.
Deliver knowledge transfer sessions (administrators and end-users where required).
Prepare and maintain project documentation including HLD, LLD, configuration, and as-built documents.
Act as second and third-level support for escalated MDM issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to MDM environments.
Maintain clear and proactive communication with the Delivery Team Lead and project team.
Follow standardized delivery processes and ensure compliance with security standards.
Support presales activities such as demos, proposals, and technical consultations when required.
Stay updated with MDM technologies and complete required certifications.
Maintain professionalism, positive energy, and respect in customer and internal interactions.
Support team collaboration, knowledge sharing, and mentoring of junior engineers.
Identify recurring issues, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and document solutions.
Participate in post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement activities.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
4–7 years in MDM, endpoint management, or related roles
MDM Project Delivery and Implementation
Ivanti MobileIron or similar MDM solutions (Intune, Workspace ONE, etc.)
Requirements Gathering and Solution Design
Device Management (iOS, Android, Windows, macOS)
Mobile Security and Compliance Management
Integration Knowledge (AD, Azure AD, LDAP, Email, SSO, VPN)
