TjDeeD and Yarmouk University Establish Technology Incubator

Yarmouk University has signed an agreement to establish and operate a technology incubator at its Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center in collaboration with TjDeeD Technology, the agreement was signed by Dr. Islam Masad, the President of Yarmouk University, and Mr. Ashraf Al-Qudah, the CEO of TjDeeD Technology. The aim of this collaboration is to provide training opportunities for the university’s students and graduates, build their capacities, and prepare them to meet the needs and requirements of the job market in the field of IT solutions development.

Under the agreement, TjDeeD will equip and furnish a smart incubator at the university’s Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center, equipped with modern training facilities. It will also set up a smart room for augmented reality, virtual reality, and remote learning applications. Additionally, a detailed training program will be developed in the incubator, focusing on the Fourth Industrial Revolution, job skills, and communication. Specialized supervising engineers will be provided to oversee the training program. Furthermore, graduates of the training program will receive experience certificates and performance evaluations, along with assistance in finding employment opportunities through job referrals.

Dr. Masad emphasized Yarmouk University’s commitment to fostering collaboration with various educational institutions and technology companies worldwide. The university aims to provide training and qualification opportunities for its students, along with the necessary infrastructure to keep pace with rapid technological advancements. The university encourages its students to strive for excellence, pursue knowledge in all its forms, embrace artificial intelligence technologies, and equip themselves with skills to enhance their creative abilities. It aims to provide ample space for their creativity, reflecting their scientific and academic excellence.

Mr. Al-Qudah expressed his delight in signing the agreement with Yarmouk University, noting that this collaboration stems from the company’s ongoing commitment to cooperate and establish partnerships with the local community and Jordanian universities. The company aims to provide training services for students, prepare them for the job market, and acquaint them with the current needs of companies, particularly in light of the rapid developments in the technological revolution and the emergence of modern technologies such as artificial intelligence and virtual reality. He emphasized the company’s dedication to establishing a well-equipped technology incubator at the Innovation Center, ensuring that students have a comprehensive training experience.

The signing ceremony was attended by the Vice Presidents of the University, the Director of the Entrepreneurship, and Innovation Center, as well as several officials from the university and TjDeeD.
