Job Overview
The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by developing and executing B2B sales strategies for IT solutions and services. This role focuses on building long-term client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and leading the sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a country-level sales strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across government, telecom, banking, and enterprise sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, partners, and distributors in Iraq.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including tenders, RFQs/RFPs, negotiations, and contract closure.
- Lead participation in government tenders and large-scale projects.
- Position and sell IT solutions (cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity, managed services, etc.).
- Collaborate with technical teams to develop tailored solutions and proposals.
- Establish and manage a network of local partners, resellers, and system integrators.
- Monitor market trends, regulatory environment, and competitor activities in Iraq.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, pipeline tracking, and periodic reporting.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field.
- Minimum 8+ years of B2B sales experience, with strong exposure to IT solutions.
- Proven experience in the Iraq market.
- Demonstrated success in handling government and enterprise accounts.
- Strong understanding of tendering processes and public sector procurement.
- Fluency in Arabic and English (mandatory).
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
