Position Summary:
The Finance Manager will be responsible for the financial health and governance of the company’s headquarters and all regional entities. This role will oversee accounting, budgeting, reporting, compliance, and cash flow across multiple jurisdictions and coordinate with local teams and auditors. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, able to build scalable financial systems, manage multi-currency operations, and ensure financial transparency and performance across the group.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Leadership & Governance
- Oversee all financial operations across HQ and subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with local regulations and international accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
- Establish, implement, and monitor group-wide financial policies, controls, and procedures.
- Consolidate group financial statements and ensure accurate, timely monthly and annual closing.
- Lead financial planning, analysis, and forecasting to support executive decision-making.
- Manage cash flow, treasury operations, and intercompany transactions.
Budgeting & Reporting
- Develop annual budgets and multi-year financial plans for the group and regional offices.
- Monitor budget vs. actual performance and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare management reports, dashboards, and board presentations.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure tax, audit, and statutory compliance in each operating jurisdiction.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
- Evaluate financial risks, currency exposure, and recommend mitigation strategies.
Vendor & Project Finance
- Coordinate with the delivery and procurement teams to ensure accurate project costing, vendor payments, and revenue recognition.
- Support contract review and ensure correct financial terms for vendor and client agreements.
- Track profitability of projects, departments, and business units.
System & Automation
- Oversee financial systems implementation and integration with ERP, CRM, and project management tools.
- Champion automation of reporting, invoicing, and approvals for better efficiency and control.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor local finance officers and accountants across regions.
- Build a strong, collaborative, and high-integrity finance culture aligned with business growth.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (master’s preferred).
- Professional certification (JCPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent) required.
- 8–12 years of experience, including at least 3 years in a group-level or regional finance leadership role.
- Prior experience with system integrators, technology, or professional services firms is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of multi-currency accounting, intercompany transactions, and consolidation.
- Experience with ERP and financial systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, SAP, or Odoo).
- Proven track record in financial governance, process standardization, and automation.
